How the AI billboard mockup generator works

You fill in four things. A product photo: a bottle, can, box, sneaker, headphones, a skincare jar. A headline for the billboard. A location from the list: Times Square in New York, Piccadilly in London, Shanghai, Tokyo, Dubai or Berlin. And a campaign style: Premium, Minimalist, Neon / night city, Retro or Futuristic.

The model builds the whole scene around them: a huge illuminated billboard in that location with your product and headline on it, cinematic night lighting, and realistic reflections on glass and wet pavement. The product's shape, label and colors are kept accurate, so your packaging stays recognizable.

This is not a flat frame you paste into. You get a finished, photorealistic campaign image with the mood of the city built in.

Launch visuals for Instagram, TikTok and your store

Small brands rarely have a Times Square budget, but they can borrow the feeling. A shot of your hot sauce glowing over Piccadilly makes a scroll-stopping launch post on Instagram, a TikTok hook, a hero image on a Shopify homepage or the header of a product-drop email.

Be upfront about it. Caption it as a concept ("what our billboard would look like") rather than claiming a real placement. Audiences love the ambition, and honest framing keeps you on the right side of platform ad rules.

Build a series for your content calendar: the same product across all six cities, or one city in five styles. Ask followers to vote on where the billboard should go next.

Out-of-home concepts for agencies and pitch decks

Agencies and freelance marketers can show a campaign idea before anyone buys media. Drop the client's product and working headline into two or three styles and walk into the pitch with visuals that feel real. The discussion moves to message and tone instead of "try to picture this".

In-house teams can use the same shots in internal decks to get sign-off on a direction. Founders can drop a billboard slide into an investor deck or a LinkedIn announcement to signal where the brand is headed.

For portfolios, it turns spec work and student projects into polished campaign boards. Just label them as concepts.

Writing a headline that reads at billboard size

Real billboards are read in a couple of seconds, and generated ones follow the same rule. Keep your headline to three to six words with one clear idea. Short copy also renders more reliably on the board.

Stuck on copy? Your balance also covers a chat with dozens of models. Ask for a dozen punchy headline options in your brand voice, then paste the winner into the form.

Pro tips

  • Use a sharp product photo on a plain background so the shape and label come through clearly.
  • Keep the headline short. Three to six words read best and render more cleanly.
  • Match style to category: Premium or Minimalist for beauty and tech, Neon for drinks and gaming, Retro for craft and vintage goods.
  • For a cohesive series, keep the product and headline the same and change only the city.
  • Proofread the billboard text before posting; if a letter is off, run a variation.

Good to know

  • Locations are limited to the six cities in the list; you can't enter your own street or highway.
  • Scenes are always nighttime and cinematic. It doesn't produce daytime roadside mockups.
  • It's a creative visual, not a print-ready file. Real billboard dimensions and vendor specs aren't applied.
  • Long headlines or tiny type may come out distorted, so keep copy tight.

Questions

What do I need to provide?

A product photo, a headline, a location from the list and a campaign style. The model handles the scene, lighting, reflections and composition.

Can I post the image as if it were a real billboard?

We recommend framing it as a concept or visualization. That's honest with your audience and avoids trouble with platform rules on misleading ads.

Will my packaging and label stay accurate?

The model is instructed to keep the product's shape, label and colors. Very small print may simplify, so upload a high-resolution photo.

Can I use another company's product or logo?

No. Only use your own products or those of clients who have agreed. Any sample brands you create should be fictional or yours.

Can the headline be in a language other than English?

Yes, the field accepts any text. Short phrases render most reliably; run a variation if a character looks wrong.

How is it priced?

Pay as you go: each generation is charged to your balance, and the current price is shown on this page. No subscription.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Use the web app in a mobile browser or send the photo to the Telegram bot @tokionaibot.
