How the spirit animal AI builds your portrait

This isn't a personality quiz and it doesn't swap you for a stock photo of a wolf. You choose the animal, and the AI creates your animal alter ego: a stylized creature portrait that blends your face, hairstyle, features and expression with the animal's ears, fur or feathers, eyes, muzzle and coloring. Friends should look at it and immediately know it's you.

Everything else about the original shot is kept. Pose, background and lighting come straight from your photo, so if you took it on a rooftop at golden hour, your fox self is on the same rooftop in the same warm light. The output is photorealistic and highly detailed, closer to a surreal photograph than a cartoon.

The form is one photo plus a dropdown with 14 options: cat, dog, wolf, lion, tiger, fox, owl, eagle, bear, dragon, horse, deer, panda and rabbit.

Human-animal avatars for Instagram, TikTok and Discord

A hybrid portrait makes a profile picture that stands out in a feed yet still identifies you. Run the same photo through three animals and you have an Instagram carousel ready to go: ask followers which one fits you best and reveal your pick in stories.

On TikTok, a quick "which one is my spirit animal?" slideshow is an easy, low-effort post that invites comments. Gamers and community moderators use dragon, wolf or tiger versions as avatars for Discord, Twitch and forums without commissioning custom art. Tabletop and roleplay fans get a character reference that carries their own face.

Gifts, parties and team fun

Turn your night-owl coworker into an actual owl or your sister into the fox she's always been. Printed on a mug, a card or a T-shirt, these portraits make personal, funny gifts. For themed parties and team offsites, give everyone an animal and use the portraits on name tags, slides or a group collage.

One rule applies every time: only upload photos of yourself or of people who agreed to take part. No celebrities, and keep photos of children in the family circle with a parent's consent.

Choosing your animal

Predators such as wolf, lion, tiger and fox give a bold, striking look with intense eyes and thick fur. Cat, dog and rabbit read softer and friendlier. Owl and eagle trade fur for feathers and noticeably reshape the head. Deer brings antlers, bear and panda bring warmth, and dragon, the only mythical option, adds scales and a fantasy mood.

If you can't decide, generate two or three versions from the same photo and compare. The difference in character is obvious at a glance.

Pricing is pay as you go with no subscription. Each generation comes from one balance shared with the other image tools, a chat with dozens of models and the API, and new accounts get a starting balance. It works in the browser and in the Telegram bot @tokionaibot.

Pro tips

  • Use a sharp photo where your face is fully visible, front-on or at a slight angle.
  • Soft, even light gives the best fur and feather texture, since the tool keeps your original lighting.
  • Remove sunglasses and hats so the animal's eyes and ears can blend in naturally.
  • Frame from the shoulders up if the result will be cropped into a round avatar.
  • Want a different backdrop? Take the photo where you want it; this tool keeps the background.
  • Try the same photo with a few animals before you settle on one.

Good to know

  • Only the 14 animals in the list are available; you can't type in your own.
  • Pose, background and lighting stay as they were in the original photo.
  • Designed for one person per photo, not group shots.
  • Don't use photos of other people without consent, or of celebrities.

Questions

Does the AI decide which animal I am?

No, you pick the animal from the list. The AI then blends your features with that animal's traits into one portrait.

Will I still look like me?

Yes. Your face, hair, features and expression stay recognizable. The animal contributes ears, fur or feathers, eyes, muzzle and coloring.

Which animals can I choose?

Cat, dog, wolf, lion, tiger, fox, owl, eagle, bear, dragon, horse, deer, panda and rabbit.

Is the result a cartoon?

No. It's photorealistic and detailed, a stylized creature that looks photographed rather than drawn.

Can I make one for a friend?

Yes, if they've agreed. Only upload photos of yourself or of people who gave you permission, and never of celebrities.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Use the web app in a mobile browser or send your photo to @tokionaibot on Telegram, then choose an animal.

How is it priced?

Pay as you go: each generation is charged to your balance and the current price is shown on this page. No subscription.
